Josh was four years old when he pretended to be 5 in order to be eligible for a production of Cinderella and make his stage debut. That was the start of his lifelong devotion to the theatre.

Josh is generally typecast as larger-than-life comic relief characters, and he revels in his type. The ability to give an audience a good time in the theater is both a talent and a privilege that he does not take lightly.

A proud member of AEA, he has appeared in regional productions around the country, most memorably having spent 9 seasons as a member of the acting company at Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre.

Josh is know as the “the John Ratzenberger” of the Award nominated Audio Drama factory Just Press Playhouse, appearing in almost all of their works, including his recurring role as Albert Einstein in their popular serial “Time Trip”.

Josh founded Empirical Theatre in 2017, and serves as Artistic Director. The theatre has put up live productions of Moliere, Williams, Durrenmatt, Steinbeck, and more. Over the course of the pandemic, he created seasons to benefit both EJI and Actors Fund. This included concerts, holiday specials, and plays from Ibsen, Shaw, Shakespeare, and many more.

Josh is also proud of the 4 years he spent at The Trevor Project as a Crisis Worker on the suicide hotline. Josh resides in New York City with his sidekick, a morose six pound chihuahua named Liza.
